Disclosure Policy For My Little Blog:
I’ve decided to go against my own personal policy, and have added AdSense to my blog.
So in the interest of full disclosure about my relationship with products, services, brands, topics, or advertisements on this website, I am making the following statements regarding the content on this blog:
In most cases, I have not received any compensation for the content on this website and I have no material connection to the companies, vendors, brands, topics and/or products that are mentioned herein. I have reviewed a product or service and provided my opinion without receiving any form of compensation. If I DO receive compensation, I will fully disclose that to my readers.
But for the most part if I’m writing about something, it’s because it was worth writing about. Period.
So why am I publishing a disclosure policy? Because I now have Adsense on my blog (you’ll see it on the right-hand column) and I want to comply with the FTC’s regulations. You can check ’em out here: http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2009/10/endortest.shtm
So why am I advertising on my blog? Because I’ve written a lot of content and a fair amount of people have found it useful. An even fairer amount of people have found it via search engines. If I can provide ads that are relevant to my content and helpful to my readers, AND make $0.02 along the way, then yay!
